He started it! (Paz and Song)

Songbird continues pushing air under his wings with a large gust pushing the sand of the desert below it into small cyclones that dissipate after a few moments. Song remembered the deserts. Barren....boring.......barren........ Nothing ever seemed to show up. The occasional green things would pop up though. They looked almost like weird people covered in hair with little owl things hiding in holes in their chests. Eventually he began calling them mutant Oompa Loompas. But who could blame him?

After a few minutes of the bland flight to Death City, Song lost interest in everything and landed with a massive thud near an abandoned mine. There wasn't any way he could get in there, but he turned his head so he could see inside. Glittering minerals plastered the walls and an old mine cart was sitting on three wheels a little further in. Interested, he reaches his hand inside to try and grab at it. The tips of his fingers brushed the back end of the vehicle, and when he reached too far in, the wood supports over his head fell when he bumped the stilt. The impact of the beams hitting his head caused him to screech rather loudly. Mostly in annoyance.

Damn cheap budgets....

Jigoku wandered quietly throughout the mine,slouching so he wouldn't hit his head.The usual wrathful madness embodiement was calm for once and was exploring the vast mines.He slightly gawked at the numerous shining jewels around him,expressing his rather child-like curiosity.Eventually,he stopped and looked around,now wondering where he was.Before he could figure out,he notice another,rather large jewel."P-pretty..."He said in a awed filled voice as he easily yanked it off the wall and examined it.

His attention,however,was caught by something different.A large figure seemingly wandered the entrance of the cave and seemed 2 times bigger then him.However,curiosity ravaged the wrathful-being's mind and he cautious approached it,jewel still in hand.

Som was slowly walking out from under the thick sand dunes as she made her way deeper into the desert. It had to around one hundred degrees or more. The closer she got to the center of the huge desert, the more she had a strong lust for something to drink on. "I got to get out of here..." She said to herself out loud before her foot became stuck in a damp spot of sand. There was no one around to help her since she left Indur at home. The two had been fussing over the idea that she kills people for money. Som needed the cash if she wanted to keep her apartment downtown.

Som did a spin kick to land back onto her feet. "It looks like those lessons paid off." She dusted herself off before traveling again. Every now and then, she would hear noises around her. Som wasn't sure if she was going crazy because she was dehydrated or something was up ahead. All she could do was keep walking the only way, which was forward.

Songbird rubbed his head and looked down at the mess he'd made. The beams were in a splintered mess laying in the sand. Whatever. It needed some remodeling anyways. But instead of ignoring it, he picks up all of the pieces of wood and throws them off to the side. Then he proceeded to study the inside of the man-made cave. It was just what you'd think when thinking of a mine. Dark and creepy. But that wasn't the case. He swore that further in he could see a slightly glowing color and the vague, white outline of a pair of eyes. It couldn't have been a person considering how old the place looked, but who knew. Maybe it was some strange lunatic just searching for gold despite the fact that he probably wouldn't find any.

Turning his head to look in once more, the glow of his eye switches from a green to an orange. Song's alertness had oddly increased in level. Anything coming out of that cave better had been somebody that wasn't just about to rip his head off.

The creature threw the wood it broke to the side,seemingy in annoyance,but it didn't effect Jigoku,and pressed onward,now stepping into the light.His dark red,seemingly,constant moving skin,white eyes,8 flowing tails,and build were enough classify him as a threat if one didn't notice his curious nature.He now stopped,a few feet away from the........thing.He cocked his head to the side,almost cutely,and observed him,still not letting go of the jewel in his hand.

Som finally couldn't take the heat anymore. She dropped down onto her left knee, letting a loud groan escape her mouth. She had sweat all over her head and a wound that was an inch above her hip. The girl couldn't get up, so she laid on the desert floor and waited for the heat waves to vanish.

Songbird studied the figure that had finally emerged from the mine. It really wasn't human, and it didn't look all that innocent either. It had to have been a clown. But why was it in the mines? It wasn't holding a pick axe. But the massive jewel in its hand said otherwise. Song's lack of speech led him unable to question the being. So he just waited to see what it would do. So far, it was only being perceived as a threat by looking at it.

He was about to make a move, but a noise from behind him made him turn his head rather abruptly. It sounded human alright. Without a doubt. So instead of watching what the other clown was doing, he turned around and walked up the side of the sand dune to the other side. Near the bottom, a body was sprawled out with a bloody, red gash that was leaking through the person's clothing. What was he going to do? He had to fix this somehow! Them dying would mean the end of him!

The orange color of his eyes turned back to the green color again, and he took flight to get to the person faster. There wasn't water here which was good on his behalf, but what about her's? Water was vital to humans, right? Or was it vinegar? That was besides the point. He had to find some place to ease the person's health state.

Once he lighted down next to her, he leaned down and tilted his head before turning it to look her dead in the eyes. She was rather pale other than the slight sunburn. Something cold and wet probably would keep her living and breathing. But what? They were in the middle of the desert!

The eyes on the creature changed to yellow.If Jigoku had eye-lids,he would've blinked and continued to observe it until it quickly turned and went a certain direction.Curious and having nothing else to do,Jigoku followed,easily catching up.He looked at what 'it' was looking at,and it seemed to be a injured woman.The creature went down there in haste,as if anxious about the well-being of the human.Soon enough,it seemed distraught at what to do.Jigoku jumped down from the sand dune,landing near them and approached,noticing the yellow eye went back to green.

Upon observing a bit more,he spoke,or atleast tried to."C-cave...wet...nice.."He said,his voice slightly demonic and unatural,but not really threatening.He point back to the direction of the mine,looking dead at the creature.

Som slowly opened up her dark eyes to see the people around her. Both of them gave off a weird vibe, but she knew that they could possibly be her only hope of leaving the horrible desert. "Please...could you spare some water..." Som managed to say while rolling to her right and burying her face into the somewhat cool sand. She was trying her best to cool off and tried to keep her mind off of food, but every time she did the thought would just come rushing back into her. "If you do, I will pay you back some money. Just please give me some water i'm very thirsty..."

Songbird listened carefully to the girl's directions and looked over at the creature speaking to him. The mine was damp and dark. A perfect place for somebody possibly having heat stroke. Song know there was no way he'd fit in the mine, so he'd have to try and persuade the creature explaining the mine's contents to bring the girl inside.

Carefully, he picks up the girl and studies the wound on her hip a little more closely before looking back at the demonic-looking.......clown maybe? Either way, he motioned from the girl in his hands to the clown and then back at the cave. Just maybe it would understand him.

After studying its facial features for a few moments, it glances back behind it into the cave. Song felt strange being unable to fit into the cave's entrance, and pondered on it for a while before the glint of the jewel caught his attention again. Again he asked himself why it needed the glass-like object. There was no purpose to it was there?
