Librarium of Beetle

A cold room awaits you, filled with books, piled high, high, into the sky. The infamous Librarium de Beetle, created by the infamous sorcerer-architect Beetlegeuse von Arcadia. Legend is, each tome contains self updating reports regarding certain people. Let us explore a few of these people, hmm? Who to start with, who to start with...Ah! Crowe! Let us start there!

Ignatius Crowe. A rather mean little man. I don't envy him, not at all. His fate is... Well, let us say it is not pleasant at all. But the future has yet to happen, so let us stick to the past and present, hmm?

Crowe was once a lawyer, who, due to the machinations of others, lost his family. He then learned that those in charge of the investigation were being paid off. In a series of brutal murders, he gained revenge, and souls, becoming a kishin egg. Now, he mistakenly crusades against corruption, doing more harm than good. He utilizes in combat a puppet resembling a certain tall, some would say slender, man, and swarms of Crows generated by his madness, that of corruption.

Recently, he tricked a pair of children in aiding him in the slaying of a group of bored executives. He has, to date, collected 45 souls.

Who next, who next? Ah, how about that not-so-lovable rogue, the Never King! Once a scientist of sorts, he became a treasure hunter upon moving to Ireland. Too bad he was accosted by a witch, who cast him into the chaotic Never Web. By devouring the souls of others trapped there, he gained power, until he was able to leave. He is quite odd, as his powers are more geared for mischief than actual combat. He currently has 32 souls. His madness is that of Strangeness.

Next on our list is Era, the Dinosaur Witch. The sway of magic is in full swing in this one, causing her to enjoy destroying things far more than she should. However, she is, at heart, a scientist. Her journey began when she first manifested her abilities, harming several of her peers who were assaulting her. Fleeing to Chicago, she set up a base/lab of sorts in a warehouse, which, after robbing a great deal of money from a bank, she reinforced greatly, giving it several facilities that would not be uncommon in a survivalist bunker/laboratory. She is an acquaintance of the Skull Knight, who she considers herself on friendly terms with.

Recently, she raided a Arachnophobia base and made off with a small cache of magic tools and research notes. Currently, she is trying to use the research gathered to create her own brand of magic tools.

Of course, for every bad apple, there is a good one as well. Rodrik the Verminous Sage, a giant cockroach monster with magic, seeks to change the world, make it to where every vermin and bug is sapient and has the same rights as a human...

He has a long way to go.

Every angelic figure needs a Devil. That iss where Nyarlathotep comes in. A scheming trickster, he takes great joy in causing misery. A clown created by a colossal Kishin at the edge of our solar system, he employs trickery, shapeshifting, and memory reading in order to drive a person to despair. His end goal is to destroy the being that made him.

No matter who wins, however, we lose.

Next is Deck, the Phantom Razor Card weapon. The adopted son of a meister-weapon pair, his birth parents, a Dark Weapon and Witch respectively, are so vile, that he has dedicated his life to proving that he is better than them.

Ah, but we cannot forget Analysis! Born the son of a pair of business people, he has joined the DWMA in order to join the profession he idolizes, that of a Meister. A follower of the Ethos 'dress for success', he is rarely not seen in his suit and distinctive fish tie.
