Appearance: Nyarlathotep is a shapeshifter. He has many, many forms. However, the forms he most favors are that of an old, wizened man in a cowboy hat, carrying a stick, a rather proffesional looking woman in a business suit, and a small child in a yellow and blue striped shirt and baseball cap. However, his true form is a large, vaguely human shaped blob of shadows with eyes.
Personality: Nyarlathotep is dismissive of humankind as a whole, considering them mostly irrelevant. However, despite this, he finds himself fascinated with them. This is not a good thing, as any fly that finds itself in the grasp of a small child will tell you after it has its wings ripped off. He is....exceedingly cruel, and takes immense joy in driving others to despair.

History: 

At the edge of our solar system lies a massive being, a lobotomized diety, a blind idiot god. Azathoth. A powerful kishin, it had left its home world long ago, in order to search for more souls. However, as it passed through space, a meteor struck it in its eye, causing brain damage, leaving it in a vegetative state. However, it had time for one final, desperate act.

It created a clown. This clown was to finish the journey to earth, and figure out a way to resurrect its master. This clowns name was Nyarlathotep. 

Of course, he knew that if his master was resurrected, he would likely be 'recycled' . So, he endeavored to find a way to revive one of the only beings capable of destroying his master.

Yes, Nyarlathoteps goal is quite simple. He seeks a way to free Asura.


Powers: 

Abilities	Description
Shapeshifting	Nyarlathotep can shapeshift into a variety of forms. This makes infiltration easy, and can be used as a psychological weapon
Speak not Ill of  the Dead	Those who have JUST died, Nyarlathotep can possess, giving the person a cruel, foul half life, forced to watch as their body commits foul crimes.
Things man was not  meant to know...	Nyarlathotep can view into a persons mind, learning their secrets, their regrets, their fears. This ability allows him to see memories and emotions associated with ONLY, and if a mind is guarded enough, he cannot read it.
Shadow Form	Nyarlathoteps true form, that of a mass of shadows with eyes. While in this form, he is harmed greatly by bright light, soul resonance attacks, and magic. However, physical attacks will pass right through him. He is also unable to interact with the world while in this form, being limited to conversing and hiding.
