To Rescue a Cat

Allister instantly hugged her, forgetting about his shy nature for the moment, "I can only imagine how it feels to be experimented on" he said, quiet dramatically as he petted kitty, "It doesn't look like she feels sorry for herself" Lucciano chuckled as he walked over "hey, how about you see what her soul looks like, I bet it has little cat ears~", the idea just dawned on Allister "o-oh yeah...." the thought made him blush, he had to be near or touching someone to read their souls, and he just realized he was touching kitty, well...no turning back now Allister thought as he closed his eyes and focused on her soul's aura

Kitty's soul was that of a cat, however, much like a Kishin Egg it was shrouded in madness. While the wavelength she gave off was rather small, so was her soul count right now. She hugged Allister happily durring this process, the chains hanging from the sides of her head jingling as they swung lightly with each movement.

Allister tensed up "madness....her soul is surrounded by madness..." he muttered in shock "But, doesn't that mean...she's a dark weapon?" Lucciano asked "but she's so nice", "well you don't have to be mean to eat pure souls, just insane.." Allister sighed sadly as he broke away from the hug "so..do we....kill her?"Lucciano asked, sounding very disappointed

Most of what the two said was jibberish to Kitty. Sure, she could pick out words here or there, but only one truly rang out to her. It was a word she knew very well. A word she had heard since her day of creation. Kill? To Kitty, this word was not an action, it was a command. However, they had said 'kill her'. Her was a word for females. They were both males. Since she was the only female in the room, this was an order to the other boy, wasn't it?

Coming to this conclusion, Kitty had to take action. As if on instinct she rolled away from the two and took grasp of her two kama. There was a slight look of fear in her eyes, for she was in no condition to fight. Even just rolling backwards like that left her in pain. If they triggered a fight the best she could do would be try to make a hasty exit... And even that was a big if...

Lucciano and Allister tensed up and were on the offensive "H-hey, calm down, Kitty, it's going to be ok" Allister said softly, though he barely believed his own words, if Kitty was eating pure souls they would have to do something about it, even if it meant they had to kill her, i really don't want to kill.kitty.... Allister thought

Calm? No. They said kill. That was a command... There was no way Kitty was sticking around here much longer... Now was planning time. She had to get out. She had to get out NOW. There was no way she could take them on. Not in this physical state... She glanced around quickly, looking for any exits. There was the door they came in, but she'd have to open that. It would take time. Next option, the window. She'd seen the clear stuff shatter when things hit it... Maybe if she rammed it she could go through and make a bolt for it...? It would be quick and easy... Maybe a little painful... Or alot painful... Didn't matter, she had to go.

Yes, the window it was. Gripping her kamas harder, Kitty braced herself, keeping an eye on the boys. Her ears were alert and ready. With what speed she could muster, that of an average human at this point, Kitty made a dart for the window. If nothing got in her way she could probably be out in seconds... If one of them did, she'd have to fend them off...

Lucciano instantly reacted and charged at her, aiming to tackle her and pin her down

Kitty swung a kama at him, trying to keep him back. If he got too close it'd stab him, if he didn't she'd throw herself through the window. If she stabbed him it'd slow her down enough to force a fight. If he stayed back, she'd be out and start heading away. Where? Who cares.

Lucciano gasped and jumped backwards as the kama swung close to slashing his gut, he tumbled back on the living room rug. The red-headed weapon stood up and growled "we need to go after her!", Allister sighed "I know...." he said as he reluctantly followed Lucciano out of their front door

Lucciano and Allister went to the side of the house that had the window she jumped out of, they looked for any trail she could've left, most likely blood or glass

Kitty had left her blood on the ground, but they could probably see her cat form making it's way down the street. It was quite a ways away, and distancing itself by the second. If they didn't get a glance at it quickly, they wouldn't see the small cat due to making a turn onto the next street and out of site.

Lucciano and Allister looked around to see which direction she went when Lucciano spotted her "There she is!!" He said as he rushed after the cat, sure it could've been a random stray, but Lucciano wasn't taking any chances!
Allister followed closely behind

Having turned the corner, Kitty picked up as much speed as she could muster and hiden herself by running through a maze of small alleys. Unless they had soul percept, Kitty was gone. It was now her goal to stay hidden and get out of this city. That was the best option for now.

Lucciano hissed in frustration as they both stopped "Damn it, we lost her!" He growled, Allister sighed, half in relief and half in disappointment, he was glad they didn't have to fight kitty....but she could be dangerous if not caught soon....
