Some training in the park.

Hazel was in the park sometime in the afternoon, taking some time to train. She set up a couple of dummies around the park, then made herself some dull ice swords. It had been a while, but Hazel needed to do some training anyway, so, might as well train then. Plus, she didn't want to bake, didn't want to hang in her house, so, yeah, training time. She was doing some basic training, just practicing basic fighting combos and techniques and what not. Wasn't too exciting, really, though was pretty good.

Saren sat at a nearby bench, eating some lobster out of a small, wrapped napkin. He looked up every now and then, obviously not to invested in what was around him. He finished his small piece of lobster, and looked up again, this time noticing a girl hitting a couple dummies. It must have been a student training, right? Saren decided to watch out of interest, studying the girls moves. He didn't have the need to speak to her, so he remained silent, wondering who this girl was.

Hazel continued to train a bit, then decided to focus on her hand to hand combat techniques. She made her swords melt, then closed her eyes. Two gloves of ice grew on her hands, creeping on her fingers as boots of ice started growing on her feet. After they grew on her, she skated to the dummies, doing some basic boxing techniques while combining some other styles with some kicking, though very little. She was mainly skating around the dummies, using it to get closer to them faster.

Now THIS is strange... Saren thought to himself silently. This couldn't have been a student. The girl just grew ice gloves! A normal student couldn't do that...right? This had to be a Kishin Egg! Or maybe a witch? Either way, this could be his first chance of getting a soul! Saren quickly stood up and looked at the girl, speaking in a very determined voice. "Hey, you! What do you think you're doing in Death City? You think you can just come here and train, with?" He still couldn't quite figure out whether this girl was a Kishin Egg or a witch, but he decided to go with the latter.

Hazel looked over at Saren, a calm look on her face. Another one who wants to kill her, great. It wasn't unusual for this to happen, but it still annoyed the crap out of her. Why does all of these meisters and weapons just assume she is evil and try to murder her right away. Is get's old really fast, and she's tired of having destroyed shirts.

Anyway, that didn't matter. She casually walked over, still calm. Explaining time.

Hazel: Yeah, about that. I'm Hazel Arlnest, witch meister here at the DWMA. So, I do think I can train here in the city.

Did she just say witch meister? The fuck is a witch meister? Does the DWMA accept witches now? Seriously? Saren placed his hand on his face, shaking his head. "Seriously? A witch meister? Why...how did you even get into the DWMA?" He was genuinely confused about this. He's never heard of a witch who was in the DWMA. He gripped his blades, letting his ignorance get the best of him. Maybe this was going to turn into a fight. Might as well be prepared, right?

Hazel gave him a very annoyed look, grabbing the bridge of her nose. Of all the people she had to come across, why this guy? Just why?

Hazel:*Sighs* Okay, short version. I joined with soul protect, after a while I stopped caring, admitted I was a witch, and I don't care what others say. I have been to classes, I have talked with people with soul perception, they know I'm a witch, and they don't care. Now, is that good enough for you? Because I don't like how you are gripping your blade. I don't want to turn around and be slashed, stabbed, or just hurt in general because you wanted to be the mighty hero and kill me.

Saren shrugged and sat back down at his bench, obviously a bit more relaxed. Her story seemed to make sense, even though it was still a bit confusing to him. "Eh, fine. You get a pass for now. But that stabbing you in the back part? Yeah, that's not guaranteed. I might actually do that. So...stay vigilant, I guess?" He smirked, satisfied with his response. He still didn't quite trust this this girl, but he didn't really want to start a needless fight where blood could be shed. He couldn't quite figure out a way around ice powers, so what was the point in even TRYING to fight? "Oh, also, might not want to go showing off your powers so willy-nilly. I mean, an ignorant student could just walk over here, guess you were a witch, and try to stab you. You just saw how I reacted, and anyone could take that to the extreme."

Hazel: Good point.

She gave him a small bow, then went back to her training. She still had her ice gloves on, but she was just going to leave it at that. After a while of some training, Hazel was leaning up against the tree, resting. That'd be good for now. Probably a good time to get some food now or something. Or a coffee. Yeah, a coffee would be great right now.

Saren plopped another small piece of lobster in his mouth, still eyeing the girl from afar. He still couldn't trust her, but he found that she wasn't as much as a threat as he thought earlier. Though she still looked suspicious, and it was probably best to keep a close watch on her. A witch meister working as a student for the DWMA was so perplexing to him, that he couldn't figure her out. "What a puzzle..." he thought silently. He sipped a small container of coffee which he had brang along with him to go along with his lobster.
