Soi Lukimaru

Name: Soi goes by a variety of titles. The most commonly used one is Shrine Holder.

Gender: male

Age:  Physically aged 17. He is actually about 62, which for him is the onset of maturity.

Species: Chinese Dragon

Appearance: As a powerful mythical creature, one of his abilities includes transforming into a human form to disguise himself when among mortals. He stands at about 6'0 and weighs approximately 160 pounds. The weight is disguised however due to his ability to hide his tail which makes up a large amount of the weight. He has short dark red hair that is always neat no matter what circumstance. He has a set of jade green eyes that are eerily bright and glitter dangerously when his temper is roused. His outfit changes constantly, but when first entering the human world he wears a dark purple kimono, which formerly belonged to a daimyo. He later realizes that this outfit is highly impractical for combat situations and abandons it in favor of more suiting combative attire. His most common outfit consists of a lilac purple t-shirt with a black rose on the center of it. He ripped the sleeves off to show off his well muscled arms which show a tattoo of him in his dragon form. He wears a pair of dark black shorts and a set of black sneakers stolen from a store. In cold weather, he wears a large coat over the t-shirt and the shorts are replaced by cargo pants. Once he emerges to his true form, he stands at a massive length of 20m. His scales are colored a dark purple with a black pattern near his head. He has a set of deer-like horns on his head which are colored a dark grey. He has a terrifying array of teeth that show whenever he opens his mouth. The teeth look like a crystal-like material and they shine brightly. They also have a habit of reflecting light. He has long arms and a cloud of sulfurous smoke exits from his mouth every time he exhales.

Personality: Soi has an immense dislike for anything human and won't hesitate to mention it. However this is due to his past association with humans which has taught him that they cannot be relied upon or trusted. Due to this, it's an amazing thing that he hasn't eaten anyone yet. Soi holds Shinigami in high regard due to their being central to his religion. He is very orderly and holds to the ancient system of Legalism. However he has openly admitted that there are some flaws with the system. Soi loves a good fight and once he get's started it's quite hard to stop him. He has a habit of getting carried away but anytime he destroys something he simply shrugs it off since it was most likely human created anyways. He does care a great bit about nature and when he see's a human desecrating it he flies into a great rage. Literally. He also loves magic, as it is an ingrained part in his species and he pities all creatures who can't perform it. This pity however cannot overcome his hatred for the humans.

History: Soi was born into a brood of Chinese Dragons that had migrated to America. Because of this he was raised near humans. He was raised learning that humans were friends to the dragons but because of the dragon's magic they should be left alone. He however ignored this rule and befriended a human boy named Koby. Soi eventually showed Koby his dragon form and made him promise not to tell. They eventually went to Soi's home where they played a while before Koby had to return home. The next day at school Koby accidently let out the fact that he knew a real life dragon. After taking the other boys to see he went home. Apparently, one of the boys had told his parents because they asked Koby to show them. When they arrived the parents were horrified that their son had been playing with such potentially dangerous creatures. They had Soi's family killed and Soi barely escaped with his life. Soi eventually matured and discovered his magic before moving to the DWMA to escape his past.  He now works there as a teacher.

Abilities	Description
Flight	Like most Chinese Dragon's he possesses the ability to gloriously take to the skies. His max speed is about 50km per hour but he normally only moves at about half that.
Fire Breath	He's able to unleash a gout of fire from his mouth that extends about eight feet in front of him. This varies in temperature switching from a relatively low 500 degrees Celsius and reaching peak temperature at about 1510 degrees Celsius. At max heat he is able to melt through solid steel although depending on the amount of the steel and the density this can take an exceedingly long time. (On average it would take about 10 minutes to melt through, say a door. If for instance, he attempted to burn down an enormous safe door then it would take over a hour.)
Magic Breath	This can be applied in multiple ways. He is able to breath out a fine mist that acts in different ways. Depending on his intent it is capable of healing someone or eating away at the target like acid. Due to the nature of this ability he must be very close to the target. For the healing, it is capable of healing several small injuries or one large one. Trying to heal too much damage causes intense headaches and exhaustion. Pushing himself past this point puts his life at risk.
Strength	As a dragon he possesses superhuman levels of strength. He is capable of smashing through a brick wall with little apparent effort and this is a favorite way of transportation of his. He is also capable of lifting massive boulders although this can strain him if he attempts to carry them for too long. (Max weight he can lift is 600lbs)
Partial Transformation	He is capable of using delivering painful attacks by partially transforming his human body. This allows him to use his claws and teeth while still in human form. This is also very convenient because he doesn't have to worry about keeping track of a weapon

Other: He also has a habit of crushing small objects in his hands. He is an exceptional fighter. This is not due to really any formal training but he is very unpredictable and agile thus making it easy to fight several low level opponents. However against more experienced fighters he begins to feel much more pressure and will likely retreat to use ranged attacks.
