I'm not going to try and sell you some kind of super philosophical opening, I'm not going to be smart about it either. This is going to be an RP where we take the bars off. DC and Marvel are one integrated universe in this RP and you, the RPers control the superheroes at their basic beginnings. Meaning the current Robin would be Dick Grayson, etc. If you need help figuring it out, ask me or use Google. The point of this RP is to basically RP as a superhero or villain and take them in whichever direction you want to so as to make an entirely unique universe.

Some quick little base rules:
If you want to be Kal-El or whatever, I don't mind, just don't go out of your way to destroy everything and reset the universe.
No mindwipes, please and thank you.
Rape is a no. Attempted, maybe, with the permission of the other player.
Be creative. Don't just follow the original character's paths.
Please leave the New Gods alone. Unless you feel like being obliterated.

((Some of this may go without saying due to being a "set" character, but it's best that you express an understanding of the heroes/villains basic variables. Exempli Gratia: History, personality, et cetera, BEFORE playing him/her.))

Confused as hello-kitty about this

You're basically choosing a hero/villain from Marvel, or DC, and then sending them on a separate path from the cannon. They'll still have a similar beginning, but maybe they have a different reaction, or view of things, and it leads them on a completely different path.
