~Devil's Carnival~

She did so love that movie. "Come one, come two, come all! Devil's Carnival!~" Zev danced, moving into half a spin, leaving her staring back at the brightly glowing Farris wheel. A sensational affair! Bright lights, lots of sweets, happy people.... Bright lights. It was too bad her only option was to kill em all! She hated to ruin all this fun, but she couldn't think of any place she would rather do it!

A few people at the gate of the pier were becoming frustrated with the hardened pink substance that was sealing people in, and some more out. Zev had done that with all the entrances of course. The wheel groaned to a sudden stop. Of course, she had done the same to the wheel. Wouldn't want the rascals going anywhere, right?

The carnival goers shifted from elated clamoring to a hushed murmur as they finally began to understand that something was terribly wrong here. Zev stretched her arms high into the air. Time to get this party started.

There was something interesting about the taste of cotton candy while inebriated to the point where one couldn't remember their own name. At least, to Yuu, there was. So there she was, within the fair, laying down within a large pile of pinkish-red fluff that smelled almost sickly sweet and tasted two times that. But there was still something appealing about it to the small-ish girl, so she picked pieces of the fluff out from the pile around her sparingly.

Only after a few minutes of eating large, ungodly amounts of cotton candy did she notice that things were a bit off. The cheerful fair-goers had stopped talking happily, no one was playing or laughing, and the beautiful wheel had stopped. This captured Yuu's drunken attention as quick as her synapses could manage.

"What's goin' on aroun' here? It looks like some'in shut down the fai'r! Well, I won' have it!" Yuu declared proudly, standing quickly. A bit too quickly, it might seem, because almost as soon as he stood up she slipped and faceplanted. "Oww.." She whined quietly, sitting up and rubbing her forehead.

Zev didn't seem to notice the drunkard who was still blending in with the crowds. She adeptly formed two swords. The pink gum rippling into the sharp form, and then hardening, and becoming a shining silver. Members of the crowd gasped at the display, as all attention began to turn to the girl. She took a few graceful steps, like she was entering a dance. Without warning, she rolls into the crowd, and cuts down two onlookers. There is exactly one moment of confusion as what happened sinks into their minds. Following, were screams, and hurried clatter of footsteps.

It took her a few minutes to realize what was happening, but when she did, Yuu quickly went to action. Hoisting her mighty gourd, she took a swig from the purple container before jumping up to the highest stand she could. Yuu bent backwards slightly, letting out a mildly underwhelming adorable roar, to grab the other girl's attention. "Hey you! Over there, with the swords! Whaddo'y think you're doing?! You're ruining the fair!" She bellowed, with a semi-cheery tone.

Zev spun around to the small girl, who promptly face-planted. A brilliant first impression to be sure. There was something off about her. And it wasn't just the fact that she was obviously a child, covered in candy, and violently intoxicated. No. She had madness in her. Zev could taste it. Maybe that was what drew her here. ""Luck me!~" She called in something between a chirp, and a shout. She couldn't be sure if this was a person with unusually high madness, or a low level Kishin Egg. But, if she wasn't the latter, she would be soon. "What's you're name.~" She asked, her voice filled to the very brim with venomous honey.

It took Yuu a minute or two to process the words that the odd person across from her basically threw to Yuu with an almost antagonistic sweetness. After the words registered in her alcohol addled cranium, she called out to the girl. "Name? M'name is Yuu. At least, I thin' it is!~" Yuu said, flipping through here rolodex of a brain to remember her name. Her face changed to that of pure confusion as she did so.

Zev tilted her head, her mouth hung slightly agape in confusion, or maybe genuine awe. She had never see a drunk human before. It was very... Strange. "Yuu, huh?" She wondered aloud if that was correct, skipping closer to the girl. "You're a real cutey, you know? Wonder what kind you are. You a kishin?" She past off as an innocent comment, acting like people weren't screaming, and flooding to the gate behind her.

"Ye', it's Yuu!" She smiled through the compliment and retorted quite simply, "What I am isn't important right now. Wha's important is that you're ruinin' the fair." Yuu took a quick sip of her gourd's large amount of untouched liquor to drown her brain-cells even further. She screwed up her face to attempt to look fearsome but just ended up making a face even more adorable than before, with her cheeks puffed out and the points of her fangs showing through. "I'ma ask you to stop!"

Zev's face lit up with glee at Yuu's shifted expression. "Oh, anything for a cutie like you!~"' She chirped, scooping up a soul, and skipping to the girl's side. "But, don'cha want these? You can have the whole place to yourself, AND you'll be nice, and full.~" She said, trying to give Yuu a peck on the cheek, and a rush of her blissful madness.

Yuu held up her gourd, attempting to push it to Zev's lips rather than be kissed. "Callin' me cute once is acceptable! Twic-" Before she could get her sake addled sentence out, Yuu let out a demure burp, like that of a toddler. She blushed at her bodily noise, slightly embarrassed. "Excus' me.~" Yuu said, covering her mouth with her other hand.

Zev gladly accepted the drink. Being a clown, this had no effect on her. "Not twice? Well, the third times a charm.~" Zev circled the girl, taking a moment to admire her fully. Was this girl really a kishin? She seemed more or a simple drunk. "C-u-ty." She sounded out slowly, punctuating each sound for full effect.

The wild panther stalked it's prey. A herd of sheep trapped in the farmer's pen and ripe for the taking. By panther, I mean Kitty. The less than knee-high kitten, lounging by the gate watching the sheep, or people, panic and try to get over the wall. This was perfect. No escape, no mercy.

Hopping off the wall and into the park, Kitty took her human form and landed near the crowd, the few that noticed yelling something about a witch. Kitty wasn't a witch, but people made that mistake all the time. Not that she even knew the difference. She was just hungry.

Yuu smiled awkwardly, although her eyes portrayed her true feelings with their closed slants. "T'ain't no need to keep doin' tha'." She took a heavy swig out of her gourd. "All 'im tryin' to say is, quit messin' up the fair. At least leave th' cotton candy stands." A look of slight desperation crossed her face, and it was quite obvious that she was taking this more seriously than she probably should've. Oh well. Blame the alcohol.

Zev could hardly bear with the amount of adorableness this girl let off. She shook giddily in place, an enlivened grin matching her enthusiastic eyes, and completely adrenalized steps in place. "You're the best Kishin EVER! I promise not to mess up anything else in fair for you! I just wanna get rid of all these fuddy-duddies." She explained, punctuating her insult to the fair-goers with an upset huff. She could swear there was madness coming from somewhere else nearby though.

Scoping her surroundings, Kitty's first note were the two standing casually away from the crowd. She got a felling that messing with them would end up like in the cemetary. For now she'd pick people off the crowd. Yes, that seemed smart. After all, from her experience, people that seemed out of place usually were.

Kitty ran up behind two people, grabbing her ponytails as they transformed into their deadlier counterpart, a pair of silver kamas hung from chains. She placed each blade directly into the neck of one of the two strangers, dropping them and catching one of the people as they fell, causing the crowd to likely scatter again.

"Whaddaya' mean? Are they not nice or sumthin'?" The little-ish girl turned her head and stared at the scurrying people that were attempting to escape the fair even then. Very noticeable gears began turning in her head as she was trying to ponder what it meant, but before she could drop herself into any sort of serious thought she took a huge swig from her gourd and shrugged a little bit.

Zev hopped around to the front of the Kishin once more. Making a pouty face, she pressed her forehead against Yuu's, and sniffled. "They're all noisy, and messy. Look at all the food they just wasted." She pointed out with another sniffle. Steeping out of Yuu's vision, she throws an arm out to present the mess of panic in panoramic view. Her spare arm around Yuu's shoulders, and her face still pressed against the girl's cheek.

She was now far too focused on the girl to pay any mind to the crowd expanding away from Kitty. Zev wanted so badly to feed the madness inside of Yuu, and afterwards, the unidentified source. She would make a new master. And this one would love her. This one wouldn't leave her.

Kitty quickly changed her kamas back, swallowing down the two souls and letting the crowd scatter as they saw fit. She searched the two bodies for food, finding only a folded pouch full of green leafy plants that tasted horrible on each body. That was useless, and souls weren't filling. Maybe she should just eat the bodies? Did people even taste good? Probably not.

She again glanced at the two loners, who seemed quite close to each-other at the moment. It made her feel kind of alone now. That could be solved easily by snuggling up to a stranger, but they'd just walk off or chase her away, then likely die of a mysterious blade wound. Maybe she'd find a new friend here? Or her old owner? Kitty never did find her...

Yuu's thoughts slowly began to shift in the favor of what Zev was saying, the drunken younger girl beginning to finally pick up on what she was saying. She nodded slowly to agree with Zev before aggressively jabbing a small finger out at the crowd. "They'r' the ones really ruinin' th' fair!" She shouted out, before quickly snapping back with another swig from the gourd before hanging it upside down and shaking it. "Empty..?"

Yuu flopped downward, face-first, finding no reason to stand while there was no booze to be had.

With a few odd blinks, Zev kneels next to the girl, poking the top of her head with single cautious finger. Her mind scraped around to wonder what had happened just now. That was an awfully odd action to pair with a declaration of vindication. "Y-you dead?" She stuttered, feeling a slight shock from the change of pace.

Wheels turning slowly, as Zev's always do, she figures out what might have happened. "This's a pretty lively place. Bet one of those guys has a flask er' something." She threw out with an innocent concern. Well... As innocent as a construct of chaos who just murdered some dudes can be.

Kitty, still standing over the two deceased, had decided it was in her best interest to find food elsewhere. There were lots of people here, which usually meant food was somewhere close. So, the hunt was back on. Kitty took her cat form and hopped deeper into the carnival. The people had come from this direction, right? She could kinda smell food this way...

Following the scent, Kitty would wander in for a closer look at what may or may not be the thing she was looking for. Maybe she was just smelling people? Or some kind of yucky plant again? Oh well, she'd find out soon enough.
