A wonderfully beautiful night.

Cardinal looked at the other kids, and taking obvious notes, then looked up.

Cardinal: Pancakes and chocolate milk will be fine. Thank you.

Ospi nodded and walked back to the kitchen to cook the pancakes, meanwhile Salem kept glancing at Cardinal as he ate.

Cardinal was eating her eggs first. Though, when she caught sight of Salem's eyes, she just looked down, not wanting to make eye contact.

The was a slight snicker from the shadow demon, and after a little while Ospi came out with the pancakes and chocolate milk.

Cardinal ignored the laughter, taking the pancakes and milk.

Cardinal: Thank you Mr. Verde.

She let out a small yawn, then drank some of her milk.

Ospi bowed gentleman like "No problem, dear~" he said sweetly, and with that he sat at the head of the table, it had a newspaper and cup full of red liquid already in the place.

Cardinal looked at Ospi, then back around the table. She ate a bit of pancake, then turned to Ospi.

Cardinal: Uh, Mr. Ospi. If some of the kids are Vampires, then how come they are eating food with the blood?

Ospi chuckled "Well, vampires, mostly the ones who were turned into vampires, can eat human food for fun, but of course it doesn't satisfy our need for blood, so I like to incorporate blood into human food, they're having fun while getting the nutrients and food they here~ I personally like blood cookies, they look like red velvet cake cookies so I can eat them in public without alarming anyone"

Cardinal: Oh, cool. And creative. Though, you aren't usually out in the day, right? So does it really matter that much if you eat them for hiding purposes?

Ospi chortled "I actually enjoy eating baked goods, I love sweet things, that's why I prefer sweet blood..."

Cardinal drank some more milk, then set it down.

Cardinal: I didn't know blood have different taste.

She also wanted to ask other questions, but those were a bit more personal, and she thought it'd be better to not ask those now.

Ospi nodded "Oh indeed, it depends on the individual's personality and pureness, if you know whatI mean..."

Cardinal nodded, eating a half a strip of bacon.

Cardinal: That's pretty interesting.

It was, but that was all she was really comfy to say. Mainly cause he sounded a bit hesitant. So, she was gonna change the subject.

Cardinal: So, how did you get this mansion in the middle of the woods then?

Suddenly Ospi tensed up and was silent for a while, "....Well dear houses don't just appear, they're built....." he finally answered

Cardinal nodded, deciding to leave it at that. She just went back to her food, eating it carefully.

Ospi was primarily silent the rest of the breakfast, as if in deep thought.

Cardinal remained silent as well, finishing her breakfast peacefully.

Ospi suddenly stood up after she while of awkward silence "I'm going to sit in the garden, join me if you will, but don't forget to clean your mess" and with that Ospi walked off somewhere while the children who were done eating started cleaning up their area.

Cardinal nodded, then started picking up her plate and glass, following the children to the kitchen.

The children were cleaning up their dishes in the sink, they were in a line.

Cardinal waited in the line, rocking her feet. When it got to her turn, she washed her dishes, then put them away, even if it took her a bit to find where they all belonged.

The children were more than happy to help her with putting away the dishes, and after dishes were done they ran off towards the back door.

Cardinal decided to follow them, mainly because she could. She entered the backyard, though decided to stay on the porch.

The garden was like a small park, only with lots of flowers, a gazebo and a pond, Ospi was sitting in the shade of the gazebo as gtell children played under the shade of the trees.

Cardinal decided to stay on the porch, humming softly as she watched the others play.

Ospi saw her and waved, then signaled for her to join him and a few of the children, including Salem, under the gazebo.

Cardinal nodded, then got up. She ran over, then rocked on her feet again.

Cardinal: So, hi. ^^'

Ospi patted an empty spot on the outdoor couch "Come sit~" the vampire chuckled

Cardinal: Okay.~

She sat down, snuggling up close to Ospi.

Ospi chuckled, patting her head, "Enjoying your stay since far?" He asked
