A wonderfully beautiful night.

Cardinal blushed, backing away.

Cardinal: I need to be right back. I have some business to attend to.

She raced to the bathroom, starting to let lose her bodies waste.

Ospi stood where he was awkwardly, not knowing what to do in that moment.

Cardinal came back after cleaning up, giving an awkward smile to Ospi.

Cardinal: Sorry about that Mr. Verde, I had to take care of some personal stuff there for a bit.

Ospi nodded a bit "Oh, it's quite alright, dear, no need to apologize..." The vampire suddenly looked at a nearby clock on the wall "Oh my, I must go, May I ask something of you, Cardinal?" He asked

Cardinal nodded, beaming up a bit to Ospi.

Cardinal: Of course, what do you need Mr. Verde?~

The vampire looked at the clock again before speaking "I must slip out for a while, would you mind helping Salem look after the place during my absence?" He asked

Cardinal: Of course Mr. Verde~ I'd love to help watch the kids and manor.

She made a couple of small steps, walking up them and kissing Ospi on the forehead.

Cardinal: Come back safe Mr. Verde~

Ospi chuckled warmly and gave Cardinal a short hug before looking at the clock once more "Thank you, and I must be going now, I'll be home in a while" and with that, the vampire headed towards the front door.

Cardinal waved bye, then headed to the children. She went to sit in the corner, watching the children have fun with each other.

Salem was standing in a nearby doorway watching the group, but he wasn't really paying to much attention, he actually looked quiet grumpy.

Cardinal looked over at Salem, then walked over.

Cardinal: Is there something wrong?

Salem gave her a bitter look before grumbling "I wanted to go with Ospi but he decided that itwould be "best" If I stayed at the manor...."

Cardinal rubbed the back of her head, leaning on the wall a bit.

Cardinal: Well, it could be worse. I mean if you need to hunt, I'm sure Mr. Verde won't be long.

Salem gave Cardinal a dangerous grin "If I needed to feed I have a source right here..." He said, Salem was definitely not happy to be stuck at the manor.

Cardinal gave a nervous laughter, scooting away.

Cardinal: Nah, I'm sure it'll be fine if we don't do that again.

Salem chuckled a bit "Are you sure? I thought you enjoyed it" he said jokingly, Salem wouldn't mode poking fun at Cardinal until Ospi returned, it seemed like a nice way to pass the time.

Cardinal: Not really, no.

She gulped, and scooted away a bit from Salem. Well, it was a fun talk, but she was done.

Salem smirked and continued to watch the children play, though he'd give her a glance from time to time to see how she'd react.

Cardinal avoided eye contact with Salem, though was a bit nervous when watching the kids.

After a while, Salem let out a bored yawn and turned to head out of the room, "I'll be right back" the shadow demon stated.

Cardinal nodded, sitting down on the floor. She watched the children play more, relaxing as she watched.

Salem came back about twenty minutes later, despite him saying he would only be gone for a short while. However. When the shadow demon cane back he was holding a tray of brownies.

Cardinal looked over at Salem, then at the brownies.

Cardinal: I didn't know you baked.

Salem shrugged "Nearly killed myself doing it, but I had a craving for them, besides I think the other children would appreciate it", as if he used a spell the other kids got up and rushed towards the tray of goodies, Salem held the tray of brownies up away from the prying hands "One at a time, single line please"

Cardinal helped get the kids organized, making sure they were all in a straight line.

Cardinal: Calm yourselves. You all will get a brownie, don't worry.

After the commotion died out, Salem started to distribute the brownies to all the children, making sure that there was two left after passing them out. When the kids went to play while eating their goodies, Salem took a brownie off the tray and started eating it, holding up the tray with his free hand to offer the last one to Cardinal.

Cardinal: Thank you Salem~

She took the brownie, then started munching it happily.

Salem put the tray on a nearby table and continued to eat his brownie, watching the children play. Salem would've glance at theggrandfather clock that was in the room from time to time.

Cardinal wasn't paying attention to Salem, as she went back to watching the kids. And just relaxing, really. She was pretty bored, and didn't know what she wanted to do. While playing with the kids would be fun, she wasn't too sure if she wanted to play then.

After a while Salem silently slipped out of the room, not knowing if anyone would acknowledge the absence of his presence.
