Let's try this one more time.... {open}

Cat sat on the edge of a tall building, fingertips pressed so hard against the lip while her legs dangled over that her knuckles were white. This was the twenty-seventh time she had been in the exact same position within the past two months. Three times she had jumped, but survived with minor injuries. Once she had jumped and been caught before she really started falling. Thirteen times she had been caught and arrested. Ten times, she had been unable to take the leap. Which one would this fall under? There hadn't been any police in the area when she climbed up so she didn't expect to get arrested. No one else seemed to be up here so she doubted she would be caught on her way down. It was all up to whether or not she jumped.
Tears streamed down her face as she grew closer to the edge. No one would miss her if she left. No one knew she existed. She wasn't supposed to exist, otherwise someone would have claimed her when she first showed up. She could end it right here, and no one would care. There wouldn't even be a funeral. She would just die.  As she thought about it, Cat grew closer and closer to the edge, until all she had to do was let go and gravity would finish the task.

Two teens were walking by on a nearby sidewalk, one was wearing a red and blue jersey with matching shorts, the sporty looking teen had wild look white hair and was chowing down on a large burrito, and the bag he was holding most likely had some more of them. The other teen was carrying a suitcase and walking silently, his outfit was black, and he had long black hair in a braid. 


The white haired teen was chatting away when he wasn't eating his burrito, but the black haired teen didn't say anything, but was still listening intently, however, his focus was taken away from the burrito eating boy when suddenly the brunette saw Cat on the roof, and it looked like she was planning to jump. The teens stopped his companion and told him to look up, the white haired boy nearly choked on his burrito before hollering "Hey! Are you ok up there? Whatcha doin' up there?!".

Cat blinked and looked towards the source of the voice that was calling to her, but couldn't see anything through her tears. She had barely even heard the man. Was it a police officer come to arrest her agian? Or was it just a bypasser who noticed her. Either way, Cat didn't care. She was going to fall anyways, even if she wanted to climb back up. She closed her eyes agian and prayed that she wouldn't be punished in the afterlife for ending her own life. Her fingers slipped from the ledge and she fell.

The two teens gasped when Cat fell and immediately sprang into action, they split up and then ran towards Cat from either side, both of them ready to catch the falling girl.

Cat held back a scream as wind whistled past her head, gravity pulling her to her doom. For two seconds she fell, eyes shut and arms pulled in tight to her chest as if to keep her heart within her chest. Before she hit the ground, warm arms wrapped around her and slowed her fall, but instead of catching her, they fell to the ground with her. Looking up, Cat saw a dark haired boy, the person who had caught her.
Cat lay stunned on the ground for a few moments, her breath caught within her chest before she scrambled away from the two boys and pulled her knees up to her chest.

Tsukai held Cat close as she fell in his arms to insure that she didn't fall smack on the ground, however, his actions caused him to fall to the ground when Cat's weight pulled him down. The violet eyed teen sat up as Cat scrambled away, he tilted his head and gave Cat a calm and collected look before asking "Are you ok, miss?". Malikai squatted next to the girl, head tilted also, "Yeah, are you alright?" The white haired boy asked.

Cat ignored the two boys and pulled her knees in closer to her chest. She seemed to be okay, nothing hurt. She didn't feel anything at all for that matter. Tears dripped down her face and something else wet started dripping down her neck, but she didn't care. She'd failed. Agian. All she wanted was a swift death, but she couldn't even manage that.
Almost oblivious to the two boys, Cat started sobbing, choking on her tears as she struggled to breathe.

Malikai frowned sadly at the crying Cat, soon the sobbing girl would feel an arm wrap around her as the white haired teen gave her a hug. "Hey, it's alright" he said with a warm smile "You're safe now...". Tsukai watched quietly, but noticed the liquid dripping down here neck, Is that blood?, he thought to himself, however, he wasn't going to bring it up unless he was sure, he didn't want to make Cat any more stressed or scared than she already was.
