Love Interest: N/A
Appearance:
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 120 lbs.
Hair: Luna’s hair is a brownish color with a very red tint. It is unevenly cut and juts out in spikes randomly
Eye Color: An icy blue
Build: Thin and wiry
Other: Luna usually wears black dresses or shirts. The dresses are spiky like her hair, and go down to her thighs. The trim is similar to Tinker Bell’s green dress, except it’s black and more uneven. She has very pale skin, much of which is covered by scars (not in pic)
Personality:
Likes: Silence, the moon, the night, darkness, shadows, candle light, fire
Dislikes: The daytime, the sun, bright light, cops
Fears: Prison
Other: Luna is very quiet and mysterious. She doesn’t talk or interact with people. She usually just wanders about cities in the shadows. She’s an observer, and usually likes to watch scenes unfold, though she rarely shows interest or curiosity. She’s incredibly smart though, and perceptive. Luna has great eyesight, especially when in wolf form. She can solve mysteries easily, though she can’t voice them. As a wolf, she hates being touched and prefers to be out by the moon or in the forest.
She doesn’t like to get involved in fights or other people’s business, but does enjoy watching the outcomes. She loves to see others in pain, and-when she does get into fights-will often torture her opponent, though by then they’re more like victims. All in all Luna has many personalities and can be very confusing. She can’t talk, and prefers not to respond to people anyways, even tuning out when they’re boring-though she doesn’t engage in conversation often anyways.
Luna looks older than she actually is, which can be quite useful when she goes to bars. She does enjoy drinking though, and can handle her liquor pretty well-it takes a lot for her to get drunk. She likes the way it feels going down her throat. Luna travels around a lot, usually staying for less than a month in one place before moving on.
The main thing is that she doesn’t talk, she hates being pointed out or bothered, and enjoys seeing others in pain.
History: Not much is known about Luna, she doesn’t even know much about her own past. All she remembers is prison. She was thrown in a jail in a horrible place when she was caught stealing bread, with no regard for her being so little. She was 6, she was 12 when she found her way out. She was 11 when she discovered she had magic, and used this to escape. It took her a while to figure out how to use it correctly and well. But she did, practicing on the rats that raced across the floor of her cell.
In jail she had had one cellmate. This was a particularly vicious and torturous teenager. Her name, well, what she called herself, was Razor. She had fashioned herself many shivs, and used Luna as her personal punching bag, or rather, knife dummy. Luna is now covered in scars from these, but the worst is her mouth. Well, not her mouth. Her tongue. On one of her first nights in the cell, Razor cut out her tongue because she talked too much. Since then, she’s never been able to speak again (obviously).
When she was 11, she took Razor’s shadow and replaced it with another one, taking control of her cellmate. This was how she first discovered her abilities, and then began to work on refining it. Once she felt a little more comfortable with it, she stole the guard’s shadow one day when he was walking past her cell. She took over his mind and had him give her the keys. He did, and she unlocked her cell. Weak and hungry, she stumbled out of the prison, stealing the shadows of whomever she passed by.
Once she was out of the prison, she traveled a ways before collapsing in an alley in a town she found. She was later found by a boy not much older than her, who took her to a building. There were lots of kids there, and a scary-looking man. They were told they had to go out on the streets in the morning, begging, and to bring back the money to the man, who would then give them food and water. Granted, the food and water was almost as bad as it was in jail, but it was better than nothing. Luna hated it there, and
hatched an escape plan. She was there a mere few days before she was able to take the man’s shadow, and leave. She hated it, she hated the feeling of taking their life from them. But they were bad people, so she was okay with it.
Finally, she managed to leave that town behind too. She ventured about, catching rides where she could and stowing away when she couldn't. She had no money, no food and no water. But then she found The Feasters. The Feasters were a small group of alley cats who took care of their own, and found jobs for those who requested it. Luna hung with them, but was unable to communicate, as she couldn’t speak.
After a while, they found a way to talk. She got herself a pen and paper, and would write what she wanted to say. The Feasters were great, and Luna was able to use them to get herself money. She didn’t really like them, no, she was very distrustful at this point. But they found jobs for her, granted, they were odd jobs, but she needed the money. She would go all over for these though, and so she traveled a lot. She has a decent amount of money now, and is currently somewhere in America. She bought herself a set of nice black dresses, and takes good care of them.
It wasn’t till she was 13 that she learned she was a witch. The Feasters told her, as they had a few witches among them. She just thought she had strange powers, but no. That was when she discovered she could turn into a wolf, and decided this was the best. She stays in her wolf form while traveling, but becomes human again when she enters civilization. She was taught to use Soul Protect by Naomi, a witch in The Feasters.
When Luna was 16, Naomi started to let her have sips of her drinks-which were alcoholic. Luna grew to love the taste, and started to get them for herself. She looked a lot older than she was, and could get bartenders to let her buy drinks. She rarely gets drunk though, and can hold liquor well.
The Feasters, though kind to their own, were a gang. And gangs have rivals. They were vicious, and Luna began to love it. She loved the feel of flesh being torn under her claws, or blood running down her hand. It was wonderful. But after a while, she grew tired of it. Instead, she would watch from above, high up on the buildings. She still liked to see the pain of the others, but preferred not to get involved. No, she had to keep herself from getting involved. How she wanted to torture and kill, but she knew it was morally wrong. So she tried not to. She likes to watch, and stay out of the way now.
Spells: Luna is mute and cannot speak her spells, but they mostly involve shadows. She can take the shadow of any living thing. There are two main things she can do with it, one is to take it and replace it with another, which gives her complete control over the victim-note:this only works on those with weak will, or NPCs if you like. Another ability she has is to simply touch the shadow for a certain amount of time. With this she can take information from the other person-Once she (or her shadow) touches the victim's, they cannot move. But if she moves, this offsets the balance and the victim is released. She can also use this to communicate with other people, since she cannot talk. It's quite useful when she comes across someone who speaks a different language.
As a wolf, she cannot take shadows or perform these spells. She cannot take someone's shadow if it isn't there, there has to be light in some form, a candle, the sun, the moon, anything, just not complete darkness. Her abilities are strongest during the night when the moon is up, and most powerful during the full moon. She can understand the wolf language and communicate with wolves as well.
Miscellaneous: When she is in wolf form, she can growl, bark and howl. While in the slammer, she came to know how to defend herself. She is agile, swift and lithe, able to jump high and dodge a number of attacks. She isn't much of a fighter herself, but can sometimes get a good punch in, though she's better at fighting with her legs-or better yet at fighting in wolf form.
