Lesson One. Gravity.

Raven gave her a reassuring smile and gently put her her hands on each side of Afuu's face "It's okay Afuu, it's not that bad"

Afuu sniffled up at Raven. She wasn't entirely fond of the contact, but it /was/ comforting. "M-my face isn't broken?" She asked, her mind trying to convince her it was shattered like a dropped dinner plate.

Raven shook her head "No, it's only a small crack, it'll be easily fixed" she said reassuringly

Afuu hugged Raven's neck, and nuzzled her. All the while, she wondered. Why is she being helped by these people? People were so nice. They could do so much to hurt her, but no one does. Afuu sank into a warm feeling, and hugged Raven ever more firmly.

Raven chuckled and hugged back, happy that Afuu wasn't afraid of her anymore, "So, do you want to keep playing?" She asked

Afuu tilted her head in thought again. "I don't like the taste of dirt." She finally decided. "Can we play something else?"

Raven nodded "of course, maybe we could go back to the house and I can teach you a board game or card game, unless you want to continue playing at the park, there's always the slide" the black haired witch said, listing the options.

Bored game? That seems silly. Don't you play games so you aren't bored? Afuu bit her thumb, and looked down to the ground, taking a moment to try and figure out how a bored game could make people happy. Maybe the idea was to make sure the game didn't get bored? Are games alive? She hoped she didn't hurt the swing's feelings when she fell. Afuu continued to stare at the ground until disturbed.

"Afuu, are you ok?" Raven asked, getting concerned about the little girl's silence, I hope I didn't overwhelm her...., She thought, slightly worried.

Afuu looked back up to Raven, the tip of her thumb still in her mouth, and eyes narrowing to question the woman. "... I don't get it..." She finally admitted with some embarrassment. "D-do games get bored too?" She offered, silently praying for no laughs.

Raven smiled warmly, and chuckled a bit, patting Afuu on the head, "A game board is a game that's made out of a board, it has peices you move around the board to play, every board game is different" the black haired witch explained.

Afuu continued to stare up at the woman with big silvery disks. She had the look on her face. One with absolutely no comprehension of the situation. "I don't understand." She murmured, feeling a growing isolation. Everyone seemed to know so much more than her.

Raven kept her sweet smile "I could show you, unless you'd rather play at the park a little longer?" She asked.
