Cardinal changed her diaper, quickly, then raced down the stairs. She ran over to the children, then plopped down on the floor next to them.

Cardinal: So, what's up?~

The children she sat down next too beamed with excitement "we're coloring!" One of them said enthusiasticly, pointing at the paper and drawing supplies "Wanna color with us?" Another asked before they all gave her puppy eyes, as if begging for her to stay.

Cardinal: Of course, just hand me a paper please.

She laid down on her stomach, ready to color and or draw whatever the young kids handed to her.

The kids handed Cardinal three sheets of paper, some makers, crayons and some colored pencils.

She went to work coloring and drawing, planning to art a picture of a garden. It was okay, not the best, but it wasn't like a 3 year olds drawing. Not that she'd say it out loud, that'd just be rude.

The kids around her chatted with each other as they drew, one of them poked Cardinal on the shoulder "Hey miss Cardinal, look what I drew!" They said in excitement

Cardinal looked over, and smiled.

Cardinal: Good job. Great use of colors~

She patted the kid on the head,going back to coloring and listening to the kids.

The kids giggled and continued drawing, they kept drawing until they heard a bell ring from the kitchen and a voice call out "Lunch time~".

Cardinal: You guys go one, I'm not that hungry.

She sat up and stretched, then watched the kids run off to get some lunch.

The kids cleaned up their coloring area before going to the kitchen for some macaroni and cheese.

Cardinal went to sit on the couch, twirling her thumbs. She didn't really know what to do now, and was gonna wait for a bit.

After a little bit Ospi came out of the kitchen with a bowl, he walked up to Cardinal, "Are you ok, dear?" He asked with concern.

Cardinal looked up, rubbing the back of her head.

Cardinal: Yeah, of course~ I did just have cereal though, so I'm not really hungry. I didn't mean to worry you, sorry Mr. Verde.

"Oh, alrighty then~" the vampire said in relief, but then he wagged his finger at her, "Now remember not to eat before lunch, alrighty?~" Ospi said, though it was obvious he was being playful.

Ospi chuckled and turned to walk back into the kitchen, "Just be sure to make it to dinner, dear~" the vampire in a playful way.

Cardinal nodded, laying down on the couch. She relaxed a bit, and waited for the children to come back.

After a while and the cleaning of dishes.The children scurried back to their spot and continued to finish their artworks.

Cardinal sat up when they entered the room, watching them from the couch.

Cardinal: No, I'll just watch for now. Maybe when you guys are done, we can do something as a group.

Afterwards, all the children gathered around her to show her their pictures, most of them were of red pandas or Cardinal.

Cardinal held them close, making sure none of them would escape. She didn't care how the snuggled her, as long as they were she was okay.

The children squirmed and giggled a bit "Miss Cardinal, you gotta let us free so we can set up a game you can play with us!~" One of the children laughed.

Cardinal had a hard time holding them when they were squirming, and then let them go.

Cardinal: Alright, we can go and play a game. So, let's go~
