| Raya jumped backward and let out a sharp scream when the bolt hit not far off from her, destroying some of the metal and sending several shards up to enter her skin. She fell backward again, trying to avoid the hole the bolt had made. She was clearly terrified, her eyes round and her hands shaking. | |

| "Exterminate...." Luis echoed. That was right. Those crazy alien things from Professor. Where. "..." Wait... that isn't right is it? Either way. "We can't fight this thing head on. Look for the Kishin Egg." He advised, barely being able to wait till he was out of this hell box... He hated TV. |

| Suddenly, the sounds of Klaxons could be heard. "WHA-" The Dalek was cut off by what appeared to be a massive girder would bust through the ceiling, and crush the Dalek.
"....THA HEIL?"
Once again, the portal noise could be heard.

| Raya was getting so tired of this. She sucked a bit of blood out of her lower lip and brushed a hand across her sweaty forehead. "I want to stop," she told Luis through their link, sounding exhausted. She ran over to go through the portal again, blood sliding down her skin in thin little streams where she'd been cut by the shrapnel, though her wounds weren't bad. Just minor scrapes, but she was tired of seeing weird things and people she'd never seen before and having to fight them. "I feel sick," she told him as she jumped through the portal. | |

| Luis frowned a bit in the reflection of the sword. He could probably deal with this joker if he had to, but this was Raya's moment to grow, or realize some self worth. "Just hang in there." He encouraged. Truth was he had enough of this the second he saw the KE dressed like-... And just like "Goodbye Horses" was somehow stuck in his head. Luis would cringe if he had skin. "We're almost through this." |

| The next room was...
A sterile white hospital waiting room?
"Welcome to CliniCo, your one stop shop for healing nanites! Please, if you require medical attention, please use the nanite dispensary to heal up your wounds! Please be advised, this hospital is suffering from an extreme lurker infestation."
Huh. One of the walls DID have a weird device on it. And a screech could be heard in the background. Perhaps it would be a good opportunity to heal up?

| Raya nodded, momentarily soothed by his calm tone before she heard the voice talking. She looked at the device, suddenly painfully aware of the stinging cuts all over her from the shrapnel. She thought if over for a few moments before nodding decisively and stepping forward to use the device, willing to risk it. | |

| The device, upon Raya getting close, would spray her with a silvery substance. Already, she could feel her skin begin to knit. It....itched. Quite a bit.
Meanwhile, the screeching got closer...

| Raya let out a tiny whine when it started itching and she refrained from scratching herself, however. She paused when she heard the screeching noise and tilted her head to the side, picking Luis up and bringing one hand up to scratch her arm in distress. Great, now she had to fight while she was hurting and itching. This was no fun. | |

| Luis didn't exactly like his partners trust in random intercoms, but too late now. His mind turned to the screeching. "Wonder what a lurker looks like." He thought out loud. "Doubt they're the type to say hi, or scare easily, so no playing around." |

| Suddenly, one of the ceiling tiles fell down, and a odd, bug like organism dropped from the crack. "SKREEE!" It roared, before rushing and swiping at Raya with its scythe like arms

| Raya nodded to Luis, grateful that he was there and helping. She couldn't do this on her own. She let out a scream when the bug dropped down, and she hopped backwards, but of course ended up tripping over her own feet and landing hard on her butt on the tiles. She winced, reaching back to rub her behind for just a moment before she blocked one of the scythelike things from hitting her in the face, but only just barely. She kicked out at it wildly, trying to back away enough to get to her feet. | |

| Luis gritted his teeth in frustration watching his meister trip again. Once more he resisted the temptation to jump out, and kill the damn thing himself. They would be better off if Raya learned to pull her own weight though. He couldn't argue, a well oiled meister/weapon partnership was a dangerous thing indeed. Wait... That wasn't very nice was it? "Calm." He reminded quietly once more. |

| The thing would screech as it backstepped to avoid the kick, giving Raya just enough time to get to her feet. | |

| Raya got up and started to run down the hall, away from the thing. She was breathing hard. "I'm sorry," she panted, sensing that he was annoyed with her. "I'll try not to trip again." She couldn't really help it though - she was born clumsy. She bolted down one hallway, putting a hand on her chest and skidding to a stop, resting her back against the wall. | |

| Luis bit back on himself. It probably wasn't the best time to make Raya emotionally compromised. "It's alright, just don't take your eyes off of that thing, and keep them peeled for more." After all, the intercom thing told them it was an infestation. |

| The particular section of the hall they were in was far less white, owing mostly due to the blackish growths on the wall, which were rather fleshy and....pulsating.
Ewwww. Another interesting thing was the sign hanging that said 'Lab Block 1'.
And in the distance, more screeching could be heard.

| Raya nodded slightly to Luis. "I am," she informed him, biting her lip as she felt one of the things pulsing under her back. She yelped and jumped away before looking around, her blue eyes wide and confused. She didn't know what to do, so she headed toward the sound of screeching. After all, they needed to get this job done, and fast, as she was getting very tired now. | |

| The nearest screech was a group of 'lurkers' attempting to bust open a fridge in what appeared to be a break room of sorts. "SCREEEE! SCREEE!" | |

| Raya's eyes widened a bit and she bit her lip hard before forcing herself to walk over and swing her sword down into one's back, not caring if she killed it this time. This wasn't a human - she didn't know what it was, but she knew they needed to die for her to get to T-Vo, and she wasn't above acting a bit recklessly over it. | |

| Luis smiled silently to himself once more. At least they had finally found something she didn't mind killing. Figures it would be bugs. How girly. He could only hope she could conserve her energy for fight T-vo on her own two feet. |

| Impaling it, it let out one more screech, before falling over, dead. This, however, alerted the other two to Raya and Luis's presence, and with another screech, they ran at her, swinging their scythe like blades. | |

| Raya took up a defensive stance and swung the sword at one of them quickly, relieved when it entered the thing's skull. She jumped backward and nearly tripped again, but fought hard to keep on her feet. She tightened her grip on Luis's handle, looking a bit nervous and at a loss for what to do. She knew she had to kill this last bug, but she needed to get to T-Vo. Instead of focusing on the battle at hand, she was looking around the room for the kishin. | |

| Luis watched his partner smash the alien/cock-roach/nerds wet fantasy, apocalypse device. "What are you doing?" He called to her focus. "Pay attention right? There's more of those things." He continued, his tone reaching a serious octave again. |

| The remaining bug screeched, and rushed forward, taking advantage of Raya's distraction in order to try and tackle her.
Meanwhile, T-Vo was not in the room. There were, however, various drawings on the walls, of rainbows, butterflys, bullets, gore, tanks, plagues, a tall man with no face, nukes, and other such fun stuff.

| Raya yelped and threw up the sword to defend her face and chest from the bug, but it did succeed in tackling her to the ground. She brought her hands up to one side of the handle, and the other on the blade to steady it more and keep the bug away from her. The metal of the black blade cut into her palm, and she winced, but didn't let go of it. She had no idea what to do though, biting her lip and trying hard not to scream. A whimper did pass through her lips, however. | |

| Oh yes, this was a great situation. With the she had turned the blade he couldn't blast the bug off unless he wanted to ram the sword into her. Even if she turned it around so that he could, he would burn her in the process. Seeing no alternative, he blunted his blades edge. Luis growled to himself, trying to think of a strategy. |

| The thing clearly wasn't very smart. Instead of pulling its blade arms back for another strike, it pushed forward, attempting to break Rayas block. Luckily, it didn't seem very....strong. | |

| Raya, thinking quick, scooted back instead of pushing against it. She managed to get to her feet again and ran over to climb on top of the fridge, wedging herself in between it and the wall to catch her breath. She was so tired, and now was getting thirsty and hungry, and worse - she had to go to the bathroom. Blushing with embarrassment, she buried her face in the crooks of her arms, just needing a moment to catch her breath. She could deal with her needs later as long as she could get herself to calm down, but her heart was beating fast and she couldn't take a deep breath. | |

| Luis sighed in relief as Raya escaped the bug. Sharpening his blade, he made himself ready for combat again. "That things still there Raya. Keep your guard up." He warned, knowing the bug wasn't dumb enough to make the same mistake twice... Probably... Maybe... If it was having a good day. |
