"Skree?" Said the thing as Raya ran off. "Skree!" It promptly returned to trying to break the front of the fridge as it had been doing.

Raya swallowed hard and nodded slowly to Luis. "I know... I-I just want this to be over," she mumbled as she hopped down off the fridge and landed with her feet on the bug's back, aiming to shove the sword through its head to kill it fast. This was like a nightmare to her. She had no idea what was going on - she'd never seen any of these shows before, and it was scaring her.

Luis felt a similar thing. He had never seen these shows, but all it really did was annoy him. What the hell kind of power is it to take someone into a TV?! "It'll be over when we finish it." He said in a dry tone, stating the obvious.

The blade slid into the things skull, killing it.

"DOH, I ONLY HAVE ENUF ENERGY TO GO TO ONE MUR WORLD! OH NOES! IZ DAT WORLD! CREP CREP CREMBRULE HOK EM SOK EM! KAH, NO TIEM FOR HESITATION!"

Once more, a portal noise could be heard.

Raya shifted awkwardly and gripped his handle. "I know, but I kind of need to go to the bathroom and get something to eat and drink," she admitted with a blush, realizing how childish it was. Then she got to her feet and ran toward the portal noise, a bright red blush on her cheeks and sweat on her skin.

The other side of the portal was....

A gas station?

It seemed to be a gas station convinience store of some sort. The racks were lined with snack foods, and there were several soda bottles. It seemed to be empty.

Luis slammed his palm into his face with the force of a thousand suns. "Why didn't you do that before we got started!?" He complained, almost laughing at the same time. "At any rate, we're almost done here." He encouraged. They had almost made it through their first mission together.

"I didn't think about it!" she argued, still blushing darkly as she stumbled into a gas station. She swallowed hard, holding onto Luis tightly and shifting over to grab for a soda, wondering if it would hurt her to drink something that didn't even exist. She chose not to and put it back down, looking around the little gas station. She did seem much more confident than she had when they started, and she was hardly scared at all now. But she did need to get to a bathroom and find something to drink. She chose to tell herself that she could wait for both things and looked around again, heading over to peer over the desk to see if T-Vo was there. "Anyway... where are we?" she thought aloud, frowning. "I wonder if they have bathrooms."

Luis laughed at his partner once more. "Do you REALLY want a freak like this T-vo guy, or whatever else he has in this place to catch you on the toilet?" Luis gave the area a short scan. "No idea. Seems a little too benign for a final act though." Luis expected the last world to be something horrible. A little more Dan O'Bannon. Huh. Looks like he did know something about TV.

Raya shifted again and sighed slightly. "It sounds better than him finding me peeing my pants," she argued with another blush, but made no move to go find a bathroom. Instead she shifted once more and looked around, waiting for something to make an appearance. "But if he doesn't show up in five minutes, I have to go find a bathroom," she told him seriously.

Suddenly, a low growl is heard from the back of the store. "Gnnnnnnnraaaaaaaaaaa...."

It sounded......wrong, somehow. It wasn't T-Vo's loud screech. It was something foul and inhuman. It would cause goosebumps on your characters arms, and fill them with an unnatural dread.

Luis' eyes darted about the room(not that anyone could see it). "What the hell." He wondered, his voice quiet with curiosity. Thinking back he wondered what could make a weirdo like T-vo creeped out. "... Gross..." He added, as his mind tilled through possibilities. "Breaks over, guard up."

Raya jumped when she heard the noise, holding onto Luis's handle tightly. What a time to need to pee. She bit her lip and forced herself to walk over to where the noise came from, brandishing the sword. She didn't say a word, but she was obviously scared again, her skin rising with goosebumps.

Wandering out of the shadows and into the light was....

Oh sweet jesus how horrifying.

It looked, on first glance, a man. On second, it would become all too apparent that its skin was too pale to be a living human. On third, one would notice all the tiny cuts and scrapes that should be bleeding, but weren't. It moved slowly to Raya, its arms out stretched.

"Grrrrrrrnnnnnnnnn......"

Luis gave his mark one hundred sigh for the day. "You kidding me? The things gotta have the durability of balsa wood, smash it!" He called, sounding more like an order than anything else. He really wanted this over with back at Prof. whatever's show.

Raya shivered slightly. "But Luis, I don't like this thing..." she started, then realized her argument was invalid and swung the sword at the creature with all her might, hoping to whatever deity was up there that it would do some sort of damage. It was really freaking her out.

The blade cut a large gash across the creatures chest. However, it continued on, undettered.

(OOC: FYI, since I don't want your characters to die on the first mission, DO NOT GET BIT. Getting bit is a instant Bad-End)

Luis blinked quietly in the blade. "....... Okay, so I've been wrong before..." He spoke, letting his mind wander through what little movie trivia it had to try, and kill this thing. In a way he supposed they didn't need to. "Just cut all its limbs off. Then it won't matter anyways, right?" He wondered aloud, in a no less genuine tone.

Raya blinked slowly and bit her lip. She opened her mouth to argue with her weapon again before she forced herself to keep her mouth shut and try to cut its arms off first. If it didn't have hands, then she didn't have to worry about it grabbing her. Of course, it didn't occur to her that there could be more than this one.

The blade cut through the arm, dismembering it. However, it still had one arm left. It promptly lunged at Raya. Of course, for it, a lunge was still incredibly slow, of course.

Luis again laughed to himself, in an almost sadistic fashion. "See? Balsa wood. Comes right off." He might have felt bad if this thing was human... Or even existed in the spectrum of reality. He looked to Raya, expecting the worse from her reaction.

Raya's eyes widened as its arm fell off, tears springing into them without any warning. This thing was a human at one point. Still, she forced herself not to have too bad a reaction as she stepped backward to avoid it, wincing slightly and pulling Luis's weapon form back, ready to swing again. "Please don't call it that," she said softly, tears still brimming in her eyes as she waited for the zombie to get closer before she swung again, this time at its knee. At the same time, she remembered she needed to use the bathroom and bit her lip, and her swing didn't have as much strength as her previous one. She blushed darkly and put one hand between her legs, then whisked it right back out. She needed to focus on the important things first, and take care of that later.

The thing fell over, knee-less. However, it still insisted on crawling towards Raya, very, very slowly, dragging itself forward with one hand.

Luis looked up to his partner, reading her reactions. "Listen, this thing isn't human, or even an animal. This is television. It isn't real remember?" He tried, thinking to himself that this thing really didn't matter on any sort of level.

Raya sniffled and nodded, but this time didn't touch it and instead ran for the front of the store to run outside and skid to a halt, sitting down. She put her weapon on the ground and put her head in her hands. "You need to stop," she said shakily. "It isn't right to say something like that about anything," she told him firmly, rubbing her eyes. "I'd be okay if it was a kishin, but this looks human to me..." she mumbled, putting her hands in between her legs, a small bit of sweat on her forehead. She wasn't going to complain again, though.

Outside was.....

Alot of cars. Many, many cars, clogging up the gasstation and the road. At the moment, it looked as if no one was there. That could change quickly, however.

Luis sighed. "You've got a soft heart Raya." He examined the area. "Look for T-vo so we can leave this hell hole." The area looked like a bad horror flick. Which left a bad taste in his mouth about what he said. "Lets not be too loud. Don't wanna... Wake anything."

Raya sniffled slightly and wiped her eyes, getting to her feet again. "Can you walk for a little while so I don't have to carry you?" she asked, not going to comment on the soft heart thing. She danced around from foot to foot for a few moments, heading to tiptoe over to the cars and look around.

Among the cars were several dead bodies....Some with flies surrounding them, some without...

Perhaps it would be a good idea to avoid the ones without flies.

Anyways, across the street is...

Oh...

Oh dear. It appeared to be a church of some sort. Surrounding it were many, many ghouls, and through the middle, leading to the door was a swath of ones that had been killed or dismembered. The ones that were dismembered still chomped their teeth, but the dead-dead ones appeared to all be suffering from cranial damage...

Well, at least you knew where T-Vo had gone. Perhaps it would be a good idea to rest up before attempting to cross over to the church yard.

Luis complied, taking human shape. Following Raya with his eyes, he see's the church. "Might want to find a place to go to the bathroom." He stated bluntly. In a crowd of zombies was not a good place to need to go. His mind wandered to Raya's words. "... Calling me fat again huh?"
