| It was the middle of the night in Death City, with Hazel on the roof of her house. Most people were asleep by now, which was good. For her, at least. Her sleep attire is not the most flattering, and she probably should put on a robe or something. Granted, there was a robe next to her, but, she needed to like this. Mainly cause she wanted to cool down a bit more. It was just so hot the day before. It suuuuuucked so much.
Plus, she couldn't really sleep. Haven't really had a good conversation with anyone lately. And lonely. Kind of sucks she never bothers to talk to anyone. Eh, it's life. She'll just have a coffee in the morning and be done with it. She should also do laundry soon. Eh, whatever. Hazel wasn't in the mood to think, so she just sat up, looking out into the world....Or front yard and neighbors.

| He hadn't figured how he had got here. Maybe the vehicle he fell asleep in had drove him here? Where was here? It wasn't home. He took a few wary steps towards the mouth of the alley-way he had been hiding in to gather courage. The streets were empty, but somehow, he didn't feel alone. He timidly peeked around the corners of the alley, a look of caution and curiosity spread across his face.
Where was that strange feeling coming from? It seemed masked, but he could've sworn it was there. Maybe it was just something about this place. Could it be coming from the giant birthday cake in the center of the city... He finally stepped out from behind the corner, but still seemed to be hugging the wall. |

| Hazel saw a rather young looking figure peek out of an alleyway, looking around. Huh. Not something usually seen everyday. Poor lad, must have been abandoned or something. Or lass. Can't quite tell from the roof. Anyway, the kid seemed to be not leaving his safety wall at the moment.
Should Hazel interfere with him? Probably not. Most people were not really fond of witches, and that kind of stunk. What if he was cold though.....Ergh......Well, maybe he has soul perception. Students at the school have that kind of stuff. So, if she just leaves her soul protect off and watches him, maybe he'll wander over or something.

| OOC: (I'm going to assume that the soul protect was turned off?)
The boy's eyes snapped in the direction of the soul, though not really at Hazel. He could feel where the soul was coming from, but didn't understand what he was looking at, and really see it at all. It was a sense of familiarity though. Something he felt he knew.
He made a few more timid steps in the direction of the house, looking all directions in between each one, like a kid worried he's about to get caught doing something wrong. After a short pause in movement, he darts to across the street to come in front of Hazel's house, investigating it with his eyes.

| Hazel scooted down a bit, sitting on the edge of the roof. Definitely a boy. Maybe he would notice her up there. It's not like she was hiding or anything. Plus, he did seem to be attracted to her soul. Which could also end very badly for her. But, it was a choice Hazel was willing to make. Plus, she can probably handle a couple of arrogant meisters who want to get a free witch soul. But, let's just see what happens from here. | |

| Hey-You's eyes snapped up to look at Hazel. He was frozen now. It was unclear if he was deciding how to deal with that fact that he had been caught, or if he was frozen in fear, from this angle. His eyes were wide, but the rest of his face appeared completely calm.
He would feel the need to move forward. He wanted to investigate further, but could he trust the woman to let him. He took a few wary steps back. He hadn't made up what he wanted to do in his mind, but he knew that he would be ready to run. |

| Hazel was looking down at the boy, looking casual. The boy seemed to be a bit scared, that's for sure. Not sure why, but he was. Maybe she should comfort him? Or at least say something. That's probably be the best idea, right?
Hazel: Uh, hi there. | |

| Hey-You crouched slightly lower into a running position as the woman spoke. It was a good thing, though. She certainly didn't sound aggressive, or threatening. After a moment, he came a casual stand, and waved up at Hazel. He wasn't very good at speaking, so he avoided it when at all possible. |

| Hazel nodded, grabbing her robe. She stood up, putting on the robe. Well, kind of. She didn't really put it on all the way. This boy probably was not the most brilliant, and won't understand Hazel walking around in her bloomers. Plus, he was young. It'd be fine.
Hazel: Alright, I'm going to hop down now.
She then hops down, landing in the grass a good 4 feet away from him.
Hazel: Alright, I'm good.

| She was right to assume it. Hey-You really couldn't tell the difference between people based on whatever they were wearing. For that matter, he wasn't even aware in the differences of gender. As far as he knew, some people were born with more fat on their chests than others. His mother had missed out on telling him more than a few important things.
The boy stood completely still through Hazel's movement. He was still ready to run, but curiosity still did its part in holding him there. He wanted to know who, and what she was. What she would do next. And just what the nature of his "hunch" was. |

| Hazel watched back, blinking into a blank expression. Not really quite sure what to do here herself, honestly. He seemed to be cautious around other people. Or terrified. One of the two. But that didn't really mater right now.
Hazel: So, uh, hello. Do you want to come inside or something?

| Hey-You tilted his head slightly, openly questioning the offer. He shook his head in the end. He knew better than to randomly follow strangers out of the public eye. Even if he was curious about them. He began a semi-circle around Hazel, seeming to investigate her with his eyes only. |

| Hazel watched the boy, and stretched while standing there. He did seem to understand English at least....Well, some English. Which is close enough for, right? Uh....right. That's good enough.
Hazel: Alright. Anything you want to know then?
Even if he was young, she couldn't help and blushed a bit. It was kind of weird to be checked out by a young boy...like, really weird.

| The blush on Hazel's face didn't register to the boy. If it had, he probably wouldn't have understood what it meant anyways. He nodded his head. There WAS something he wanted to know, but he didn't know what it was. There was something to be known here, and he wanted to know it, but what was it? He moved cautiously to Hazel's side, and ran his hand down her robe lightly. Something seemed strange around the woman. |

| Hazel grew a bit redder, but she let him continue to observe her. Wow, this kid either had no shame, a huge perve, or just really fucking dumb. Not that she'd say that to his face, of course. But, she can think it, so it made it okay.
Hazel: So, do you want something then? Food, clothes, blanket, or something else?

| Hey-You probably couldn't have cared less about whatever it was that Hazel was trying to say, but there was something that he never over-looked. The word "food". As if teased by the idea, his stomach growled. He took a few steps away, holding his stomach, and averting his face, somehow embarrassed by the situation. |

| Hazel laughed a bit, putting her arms in her pocket.
Hazel: Alright, food it is. If you want, I'll be happy to get you something to eat. Of course, you'd have to follow me.
Alright, that's good. Now, the question for Hazel is where to get the food? She could go out, or she could go inside and bake something quickly. Well, she already had some bread she baked that morning, but eh, she'll decide if he follows.

| Hey-You's eyes darted to one side, and then the other, like keeping look out. He still seemed like a kid that thought he was going to get caught doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing, but it was probably starting to look more like paranoia. He cautiously followed several steps behind Hazel, and still looked very ready to cut and run. |

| Hazel nodded, going to her house. She opened the door slowly, looking back at the kid.
Hazel: Alright, here ya go. I'll let you go in first, and then I'll follow.
Yep, nailed it. Usually she was really bad with children, but it seems she was actually really good....Or good with the stupid ones. In hindsight, maybe she is just bad with children in general. Cause this may be kidnapping.

| Hey-You nodded, not sure why the order they entered mattered, but remaining alert for traps. After a moment of fiddling with the woman's door, he stepped inside, and began investigating there as well. Opening drawers, and flipping switches, and pressing buttons as he found them. |

| Hazel watched the boy opening drawers, throwing her robe onto the couch. Well, he definitely was an explorer. Is that good for kids? Should they do stuff like this? Probably, maybe.... Kind of? Whatever. Didn't really matter to Hazel. So, she just went into the kitchen, getting some bagels out of the fridge. It was store brand, not the bread she baked. Mainly because she just grabbed one thing at random. | |

| Hey-You didn't stop at lights. Given the time, he began searching under cushions, crawling under tables, and climbing up bookshelves. If it could be traveled, he investigated it. He wasn't taking anything, or looking for anything in particular, but there wasn't much in the house he didn't touch. |

| Instead of stopping him, Hazel decided to watch the boy explore. No use in stopping him, right? Mainly because she was just intrigued. This kid was pretty exploritive. Or something like that. Anyway, Hazel went to her room, sitting on the bed and waited for the boy to come in and explore. | |

| The boy eventually made his way to Hazel's room, not paying a lot of attention to the woman herself. It seemed like she wasn't going to hurt him, or hinder his search, so why bother? He continued to root through drawers, fiddle with clothing, baubles, and whatever else he found. As far as he was concerned, this was passing time until it was time to eat, or he found something worth while. |

| Hazel continued to watch the boy, relaxing as she did. After a bit, to avoid him going through her underwear, she held up the bag of bagels, shaking them.
Hazel: Alright, food is ready for you kid. Come and get it.

| He turned to face the woman. It wasn't the first time someone shook a food bag at him, like they were tantalizing a dog, so he tried his best to not be offended by it. He made a steady walk to the floor in front of the woman, and took a seat, waiting to be given whatever she felt like giving him. That's pretty much how these things had always worked. Sleep on the floor, eat on the floor, hope everyone in the immediate area is kind enough to not step on that particular section of the floor. Still. Better than NOT eating on the floor. |

| Hazel carefully handed him the bag, then laid down. Yeah, giving him all of the bagels seemed like the best idea, really. Help him keep his strength up. And if he died because of starvation....At least he had a filling last meal. Oh, wait.
Hazel: Oh, come on, I'll get you something to drink.
She got up from the bed, stretching a bit and walked over to the kitchen. Digging in the fridge, Hazel pulled out a carton of milk, pouring the boy a glass of it.

| Hey-You's eyes were a bit wide as she laid the entire bag for him to take. He couldn't remember the last time he had that much food to himself. He followed, and continued to be confused as she poured him a drink. He looked up, examining the woman's face, and movements, while he nibbled on one of the bagels. There was no doubt. It was the woman. She was causing the odd feeling... But why? He tilted his head up at her, mauling over the situation. |

| Hazel looked back, giving her own confused looks. There was only one question in her mind. What the hell was this kid thinking? But that could wait. She walked over to the table, setting the milk down on the table.
Hazel: Alright, here you go. A drink and some food. Enjoy.
Like a restaurant. Except she is a waitress in her underwear.

| Hey-You cautiously hopped into the seat. He seemed a bit nervous. Why wouldn't he be. The chair was so high up, and it wasn't something he was used to. He fidgeted around constantly to try and find comfort, while he ate. He still spared glances for the girl, trying to investigate. It was unfortunate that he didn't actually know what to look for... Abnormalities he supposed. She DID dress kinda funny. Maybe that was it. |
