Mikan and Tetsu. Gossip in the DWMA?

Mikan was smiling slightly. She almost never smiled, so this was a rare occurrence. She couldn't help but think back to being kissed by Tetsu the night before. She hadn't ever felt so loved and protected, and the feeling was so new and so wonderful that she just couldn't hide it. She hummed quietly as she walked down the hallways, heading for the next class. Things felt so... wrong without Tetsu there. She just couldn't put her finger on it, but she felt so vulnerable and almost like she was in danger without him. All she wanted was to go back to their apartment and get in a bath or bed with him and go to sleep. She hated being alone, especially now since she knew what it felt like to be with someone who loved you for real. She'd never had that before.

Tetsu walked down the hallways of the academy and...for once was not angry or even in a small,pissy mood.Nigh,he was in-fact happy.Mikan actually returned his feelings and loved him!Tetsu couldn't help but smile behind his mask.Many of the kids who walked past him gave him a slightly confused looked,wondering why Tetsu,of all people,was actually happy.Of course,no one in the school knew of their relationship,and Tetsu perfered to keep it that way.Looking up,he saw he lover and raised a hand in small wave,heading towards her.

Mikan smiled slightly when she saw him and walked over slowly to her Meister and love. "Hi. I'm sorry I didn't say much this morning. I was in a hurry," she said, reaching over to take his hand and obviously thinking better of it. She knew that no one else knew they were together, so it was a bad idea to show it. After all, she was sure they'd be teased. "You really should try putting on a shirt every now and then," she scolded as usual. "That's mine to look at."

"Hi. I'm sorry I didn't say much this morning. I was in a hurry,"Tetsu merely let out a understanding grunt and lightly brushed his hand against hers when it was close.Tetsu looked around and saw that all the students in this hallway already went to class early,leaving them alone. "You really should try putting on a shirt every now and then,"He chuckled at her scowl and the reason behind.He quickly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a tight embrace,stroking her hair.

Mikan looked surprised when he hugged her and blushed darkly as she wrapped her arms around him. "Should we be doing this in school?" she asked, still blushing as she buried her face in his chest, rubbing his back. "What if someone sees and teases us? Would you still want to be with me then?" she asked, looking up at him with an uncertain look in her eyes. "They teased us on the first day we were paired up. I can't imagine what they'd say if they saw this..."

Mikan smiled slightly at him and tilted her head back to kiss his scarred lips before she pulled away again, stepping back. "Good. I want this forever, too," she said gently, turning to head to her next class and reaching back to take his hand. "Maybe everyone needs to know," she said slowly, blushing a bit in embarrassment. She wanted to prove to everyone in the world that they were together, but she didn't know how well that would end for them.

I want this forever, too,"She said as she took his large,scarred hand."Maybe everyone needs to know,"Tetsu raised a eyebrow,and the look he made,made it very clear that he was pondering the idea.After a few moments,he lifted his mask back up and merely nodded,practically ready for what they had to throw at him.Holding on to her hand,he made his way to the door and opened it.

Mikan blushed darkly as she headed into the classroom, holding his hand. She walked over to her seat and sat down, lowering her head as she heard a few of them start whispering accusingly at them, and felt her ears burn in embarrassment. She tightened her grip on his hand, shifting awkwardly and not looking up, biting her lip.

Tetsu didn't even look at the other students as he sat straight down.His expression was one of clarity and slightly determination.He squeezed Mikan's hand gently,afirming that he is still there as the teacher walked in.A man with very faded long,blond hair and small black mustache.He took out a copy of a text book and began writing notes on the board.

Mikan smiled slightly as she headed to the library. She and Tetsu had to leave each other for a little while, which she didn't like, but unfortunately it had to happen. She walked over to the furthest back section to look around for a new book she could check out and take home. She didn't really have time to read, but it didn't matter. She wanted to.

Tetsu walked nonchalantly to the library and quietly entered, as you were suppose to.He usually came here to wait until they allowed you to go home, and today was no different.Even if he couldn't get Mikan off his mind, which her beautiful smile, plump body, sweet smelling hair....wait what?Tetsu mentally slapped himself and pushed those thoughts away.He came to bookshelf that,in-fact, was the bookshelf next to Mikan's,but he was on the opposite side, so they could not notice or see each other.As he browsed the titles, he heard something interesting coming from the middle of the two bookshelfs. "Hey, you saw how they were holding hands?" "Yes, I did, I told you she was desperate." "Yea, poor girl, going out with that animal."

Mikan blinked in alarm when she heard the gossip about her and Tetsu. She looked around wildly for the source of the cruel words and winced when she saw two girls standing not far away and talking about her like she wasn't even there. She walked to the next bookshelf in hopes of not having to hear any more, when she ran right into Tetsu's chest. Her eyes rounded and she looked up at him, and surprisingly they filled with tears. The hurtful words hadn't made her mad, but they had cut her deeply, and she was glad that Tetsu was there. She didn't say anything, just wiped at her eyes and sniffled.

Raged coursed through his veins, his body, and his very soul.He was about to rampage until he saw Mikan run into him, of course, not budging him at all. Her face read of sadness. So she heard them it seems. Without thinking, Tetsu grabbed her by the hand and stormed to the two girls, who in-turned scowled at them. "Well well well, if it isn't the dog and the scarecrow." "Which is which?" Said the other, both of them laughing. They didn't even notice Tetsu stepped closer until he lashed out. He grabbed one of the girl's by the breast. But this was not a act of perversion.Oh,no no no no.

Since,when he grabbed it, veins popped out of his hands and the fact that he was using immense force was obvious.The let out a silent scream of absolute agony as tears came to her eyes.Slowly,Tetsu,pulled his hand downward,bringing the girl with it,making her bow."Show respect."He said in a utterly disgusted the voice.The other girl,horrified,promptly bowed too."Now then..say you are sorry to her."Tetsu said as he snatched his hand back,rubbing it against his pants,as if it were dirty.The two girls approached Mikan,fear,sadness,and pain in a unique mixture on both their faces."I'm waiting." "...We're sorry." They said in unison.Having served their purpose,Tetsu then shooed them off,which they promptly did with vigor.

Mikan looked absolutely shocked when Tetsu grabbed the girl's breast, and she was furious for a moment before she knew what he was doing. She bit her lip and sniffled as the girls apologized and ran away, then pulled her hand out of Tetsu's and hurried to run out of the library, tears running down her cheeks. Now not only had she heard that horrible gossip, but she had to stand there and have Tetsu embarrass her. She knew he was only doing it to be nice, but it was still a horrible thing to do, and she was still upset over it. She ran to her apartment as fast as she could and darted inside, running into her bedroom and locking the door behind her. That way, she could keep Tetsu out of her room, but still in the apartment, since she didn't trust him on his own.

Tetsu merely blinked as Mikan ran away.....what the hell just happened.Instinctively,he ran after her,pushing anyone in way away.He ran into the apartment and went to her door and tried to open it,but to no aval.Now,alone,he could've gotten angry and rampage but...instead..he felt disgusted and guilt.He stood there..motionless before saying,possibly in the most sadden voice he ever produced,that he was sorry.With that,he walked away,his feet dragging on the ground and then leaving the apartment.

Mikan sniffled softly, wiping away her tears. She had felt so out of control in that situation that it had truly scared her, and now she wasn't sure what to do. She felt more in control of her emotions, so she decided to go after Tetsu. She didn't want him on his own, anyway. She hurried out of her room to catch up to him at the top of the stairs. She stood behind him, not sure what to say, before she sighed and shook her head. "I forgive you," was all she could think to tell him at the time.

Tetsu merely froze, not turning around by not moving forward. He did not know what to do. Hell, what COULD he do? He let out a loud gulp and slowly turned around, his eyes on feet, looking down, as if ashamed by his actions.

"I overreacted. I'm sorry," she whispered, reaching over to hug him tightly and then kiss his lips, not thinking too much on it. It was all she could think of at the moment that would help him feel any better. She had, after all, just scolded him.

Tetsu quickly tensed at the hug and the kiss, not at all expecting...well...THIS! Soon, however, he slowly hugged back and broke the kiss, only to plant several more on her cheeks and forehead. "Mikan...." He said quietly and hugged tighter, lifting her up bridal style and carrying her inside her room.

Mikan looked surprised when he carried her into her room, blushing slightly as she worried on what he was planning on doing. She wasn't ready for more than kissing, and she assumed he knew that, but it still scared her when she couldn't predict or control what was going on. This was starting to freak her out.

Tetsu sat on the bed, placing Mikan on his lap, still holding her tightly as he kissed her forehead once more. "I'm sorry.....if I embarrassed you.." He said quietly. "I don't know what do when someone hurts you or speaks bad of you. All I know how to do is punch the face of the one who did it..." He said, looking into her eyes. To him, they were gorgeous, and the only ones he want's to look at.

Mikan sat down on his lap and curled close, closing her eyes. "It's okay. I know you were just trying to help me. Thank you. It means a lot that I have someone who loves me enough to protect me, because I've never had that before," she murmured quietly and rested her head on his chest, closing her eyes tightly.

Tetsu smiled and playfully nipped at her earlobe, chuckling lightly. "You better get use to it then.." He said sweetly, holding her hands. "Someone as beautiful as you needs some protection."

Mikan squirmed slightly and laughed when he bit her ear, clearly ticklish. She shook her head, blushing and smiling at him. Not sure what to say, she just pulled away, half-hoping that he wouldn't tickle her and half hoping he would. She wasn't sure what she wanted.
